My hand is really not agreeing with me today but I drew this last night when I still feeling pretty shitty (trying to cheer myself up).
This is from the color palette thing I reblogged a while back!! (No I didn’t forget, I was just trying to see if I could accumulate more HAHAH but I didn’t get many xD).
This is the first one that Greggles suggested, but man you can kinda’ tell I was like impaired from drawing this looks NOTHING like how Krypt and Ana should look ._. And I— well I won’t get started, ENJOY!
I’ve been on an npc spree since after AX, but these guys are definitely my favorite. Here is more info about Vander and Curry. For those who don’t want to click on the handy link I provided, Vander is a retired fighter who still has a thirst for battles. Curry is his much younger wife who likes to take care of her fluff, that is trim it and dye it occassionly. She also likes to tease her husband about his old man pudge, haha.
I’d like to formally introduce these guys when the event of the offspring taking on the father’s species happens in the group. I also want to make a story or comic about them meeting Tabor, which would take place a few years before the current storyline.
"It can see the future from the movement of the stars. When it learns its Trainer’s life span, it cries in sadness."
I was crying because I lost my favorite Pokedoll. My trainer thought he was gonna die.
I was in the dryer.
Here’s my mediocre contribution to the Pokeshaming trend :D
So based on some comments on the original image: I’m really NOT surprised that Satoshi Tajiri has made nods to the idea of helper pokemon throughout the franchise’s run. Of course battles are the main point (as a game) but pokemon as companions and helpers has been nodded to both in the game, comic and anime! I really wanted to focus on jobs we have for animals that i could translate for pokemon, than simply just companions (ie: Seeing eye dogs, owned pets who visit hospitals to cheer up patience etc)
The doodle on the right was inspired by this comic on a boy with a missing leg getting a puppy with a missing leg and in the end he loves the puppy. I imagine with pokemon as well, inspirations and companions to those with disabilities.
Bottom right is based on autistic children/people and their love for animals. I know a few about autistic children and horses and even some ranches who allow Autistic Children to ride horses as therapy for them. I imagine the same with pokemon. Both people with rideable pokemon along with parents who were ex-trainers who happen to have pokemon such as rapidash/ponyta/gogoat/etc
I think about pokemon in non-battle situations a lot. Like pokemon who have been trained/raised to be helpers and assistants than to be battle partners.
Pokemon visiting hospitals to cheer patients up like dogs and cats do. Or ones that help kids learn to read, speak, swim, go through therapy?! Even pokemon who’s abilities help owners with specific disabilities?!
I love thinking of pokemon outside of battle situations.
I never revealed this here but I have been playing tomodachi life lately…
other than just once spamming screencaps of my otp on twitter I may as well fanart one lol
it’s gonna be a good Saturday (instagram: mischamuffin)
"What if I spoil you for the ending?"
"Go ahead - I’ve read this three times already."
Ever since these two got hitched in Tomodachi Life, Ralph’s just been reading and reading on the sofa. What a loser. <3
